CRLA provides free legal services to low-income persons. The primary client population for which it was founded is the farm worker and Latino communities. Services are, however, provided to any qualifying persons.

CRLA can assist with housing problems, including landlord/tenant issues (usually correcting unhealthy, unsafe or other habitability problems) and fair, affordable housing actions and policies.

The office addresses employment problems including wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, discrimination (including sexual harassment and racial discrimination) and violations of health and safety regulations.

Office staff can provide assistance with education issues, such as equal access to education, parent and student rights in the areas of bilingual and migrant education and preventing discrimination.

Clinics are held to address landlord/tenant problems and bankruptcy issues. CRLA also provides free legal assessment and referrals to other legal resources for persons with problems outside of the office's priority areas.

CRLA is committed to assisting the Latino community and will happily make appointments to confer with persons on other days and times when necessary. All office personnel speak English and Spanish.
