Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District

The Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District permanently protects the diverse agricultural, natural resource, and scenic open space lands of Sonoma County for future generations.

Fairgrounds

The Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds is here to serve as a community gathering place. Located in Santa Rosa, our Fairgrounds is home to the Sonoma County Fair. The Sonoma County Fair is among our region's most time-honored and cherished traditions. It began in 1936, when local leaders Joseph T. Grace, Ernest Finley, Emil Kraft and V.G. Garrett joined forces to create a race track and exposition center to showcase the abundance of Sonoma County.

Sonoma County Water Agency

The mission of Sonoma Water is to effectively manage the water resources in our care for the benefit of people and the environment through resource and environmental stewardship, technical innovation, and responsible fiscal management.

Sonoma County Regional Parks

Sonoma County Regional Parks includes more than 50 parks and beaches from Petaluma to Gualala and Sonoma to Bodega Bay. Many offer wild landscapes and miles of trails. Others feature sports fields, playgrounds, and campgrounds. Regional Parks also manages the county's largest ocean marina and largest extracurricular environmental education center.

Department of Agriculture, Weights & Measures

Enforces the laws and regulations of the California Food and Agriculture Code and the California Code.

Fish and Wildlife Commission

Establishes a county fish and wildlife propagation fund for the protection, conservation, propagation and preservation of fish and wildlife pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 13100.
