Neighborhood Improvement Funding Program (NIFP)

Scope of Work/Goal:
The MWAMAC’s Neighborhood Improvement Funding Program, funded by Cal Am Water franchise fees, supports neighborhood improvement projects in the communities serviced by Cal Am Water—Mark West, Larkfield, Wikiup and parts of Fulton. This subcommittee developed, and continually updates, the eight-page Funding Guide Book and Application Form that was approved by the Council (5-0), June 11, 2018. The committee also shepherds all NIFP applications from date received, to Council and Board of Supervisors’ approval, to distribution of funds.

Mark West Area Specific Plan

Scope of Work/Goal:
Prepare a Specific Plan for the Mark West Area to coordinate with the Sonoma County General Plan update by addressing elements which are critical to the quality of life and well-being of its residents, businesses, and institutions. To solicit community input on guidance for planning the future of the Mark West Area including; Land Use, Circulation, Housing, Open Space, Noise, Safety, and Utilities. To solicit input from community members on their vision for the future of the Mark West Area.
