Board of Supervisors - District 3
The 3rd Supervisorial District is bounded on the north by Steele Lane, to the east primarily by Petaluma Hill Road, to the west by a combination of roads, including S. Wright Road, Llano Road, and Highway 101, and to the south by East Cotati Ave to Sonoma State University.
The district includes central Santa Rosa, the Roseland and Moorland areas of Santa Rosa, and most of Rohnert Park east of Highway 101.

Robert Pittman, Sonoma County Counsel, announces retirement after 35 years of public service
After 35 years in public service, including the past 14 years with the County of Sonoma, County Counsel Robert Pittman has announced his retirement, effective January 2026. Pittman has served as County Counsel since September 2020, guiding the Office of County Counsel through significant challenges and milestones. He began his career as a city planner in Artesia, California, before attending law school with the goal of becoming a public agency attorney.
