September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all active, registered voters were mailed a ballot in this election. There were also polling places open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All Sonoma County voters will had two recall contests on the ballot in this election:

• Governor (Gavin Newsom)
• District Attorney (Jill Ravitch)

In addition, Sonoma County voters who resided in the City of Rohnert Park had one referendum measure on the ballot asking if an ordinance banning the sale and use of fireworks in the City should be adopted.
