Sonoma County Airport celebrates grand opening of “Flying Ace” restaurant

SANTA ROSA, CA | May 21, 2025

Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport recently celebrated the grand opening of Flying Ace Kitchen and Taproom, a new restaurant that replaces the former Tap & Pour restaurant in the same location near the entrance to the airport’s First Terminal.

The Flying Ace is operated by SSP America, which specializes in airport-based dining and has operations in the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and Brazil. The new restaurant offers an updated menu featuring local wines, beers and a selection of local spirits, along with food options for the whole family. The interior dining space and outdoor patio have been updated with comfortable seating, new landscaping and 13 televisions.

"We’re thrilled with the new restaurant,” said Airport Manager, Jon Stout. “It’s wonderful to see the space updated, and I can’t wait for travelers and local residents to discover it.”

With the new update, the airport’s food service options now include:

  • Flying Ace (Pre-security)
  • Crush Wine Lounge (Post-security)
  • Apple Spice (Post-security)
  • Costeaux on the Go (Terminal loop)
  • Runway Wellness (Terminal loop)
