RFP for Building Use for Peer Wellness Center Services

The County of Sonoma Department of Health Services (Department) is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Building Use for Peer Wellness Center Services. The County intends to award two revocable license agreements to a single operator for the use of these facilities to provide recovery-oriented, peer-led behavioral health services designed to promote hope, empowerment, community connection, and improved quality of life for adults experiencing serious behavioral health challenges.

Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approves ordinance to safeguard civil rights of immigrants

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors today moved forward with an ordinance that prohibits County employees from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement operations, bans immigration authorities from using County property for enforcement actions, and affirms that the County does not collect or share immigration status unless required by law. The Board also approved $1.5 million to support immigrant community resource needs.
