Board of Supervisors - District 2
The 2nd Supervisorial District includes all of the cities of Petaluma and Cotati and a portion of Rohnert Park, as well as the unincorporated communities of Penngrove, Two Rock, Bloomfield, and a portion of the unincorporated community south of Sebastopol.
Much of the dairy industry is located in the 2nd district, as well as a large portion of the San Pablo Bay frontage.

Penngrove Traffic Study
Sonoma County’s Department of Public Infrastructure released the report on traffic in Penngrove, the first step in implementing improvements and safety measures in response to the increased congestion in the southern Sonoma County area. Supervisor David Rabbitt, and Public Infrastructure staff presented the final Penngrove Area Traffic Study and Old Redwood intersection improvement projects at a Community Town Hall on August 13, 2025.

Notice of Availability for Public Review and Public Hearing Notice - Draft of Substantial Amendment to the FY 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission has prepared a draft of the Substantial Amendment to the FY 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan to reprogram $113,295.85 of CDBG-CV funds. The document is available for review and public comment from September 18, 2025 through October 22, 2025. Please refer to the notice for information on the Substantial Amendment, how to submit your comments, and the public hearing that has been scheduled for October 22, 2025.
