JennyWhyteJenny is a recent retiree from the California State University (CSU) System where she served in the Division of Student Affairs at Fresno State, Dominguez Hills, and San José State University. Jenny is a first generation college student who earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Fresno State. Her work in higher education centered around the Gender Equity and Multicultural Centers.

Jenny has also spent a number of years providing services and leadership in non-profit organizations aimed at eliminating violence against women, specifically intimate partner violence and sexual violence. Her range of experience also includes working with disadvantaged youth in both educational and group home settings.

Just out of her undergraduate years of college, Jenny was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. While on active duty, she served as a platoon leader for a Military Police Company in West Germany. She then served in a Civil Affairs Battalion as a reservist. While working in the CSU System, Jenny continued her affiliation with the military by working with veteran students.

Married for over 31 years, Jenny and her husband have two adult children and one granddaughter. In her free time, Jenny enjoys traveling, photography, and reading.
