Area Agency on Aging
The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) supports the well-being, independence, and dignity of older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers. We connect our community to essential programs, resources, and services designed to promote independence, healthy aging, wellbeing, and quality of life.
In addition to providing direct support, we partner with and contract with local agencies and organizations to deliver a wide range of services. By working collaboratively with community partners, we ensure that individuals and families have access to the care and assistance they need to thrive.
Discover how the California Association of Area Agencies on Aging and local Area Agencies on Aging empower older adults and individuals with disabilities. This video highlights their vital role in providing essential services, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life across the aging community within California.

Community Resources
Aging & Disability Resources Hub
The Sonoma County Aging & Disability Resource Hub (ADRH) is a collaborative network of local organizations focused on a No Wrong Door service delivery, ensuring that individuals of all ages, abilities, and income levels can easily access the services and supports they need.
The core partnership of the ADRH includes the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and the Disability Services & Legal Center (DSLC). No matter which agency you contact first, we make it easy for you to find the support and services you need.
The ARDH also hosts the Aging & Disability Resource Directory.
You can browse the directory online, save or print a PDF version from home, or order a printed copy through the online request form.

The local MPA centers around six bold goal areas, each supported by multiple strategies:
