Sonoma County Aging & Disability Commission (Formerly Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council)
The Aging & Disability Commission advocates on behalf of older adults 60+, adults with disabilities and their caregivers. The Commission makes recommendations to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.
The 21-member Commission is composed of 10 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors (two from each District) and 11 members appointed by the Commission representing the county’s geographic and special population groups. Priorities include caregiving support, access to food, transportation and other necessary resources, affordable living, and engagement with our LGBTQIA+, Tribal and Black Indigenous people of color residents.
Meetings are open to the public and held the 3rd Wednesday of each month. See below for links to agendas.
