How do I sign in to sonoma higher ed, the County's LMS?

Click the logo to access sonoma higher ed from any internet-connected device.  
NOTE: you will need your network login credentials to access the system.

All County Employees sign in using COUNTY EMAIL and PASSWORD (aka SSO or Single Sign On) 

Authorized External or Non-County users sign in HERE with your Personal Email and sonoma higher ed / SABA Password.

I forgot my password!
  • For all County Employees:
    Your password is the same one used for your County email though our Single Sign On (SSO) System.

What if I still cannot log into sonoma higher ed?

Who do I contact for general help? Who is my department LMS Administrator?
  • Start with your Department's LMS Administrator

How do I search for classes in sonoma higher ed?
  • Log into sonoma higher ed

  • Your personalized Landing Page will appear when you log in.

  • Different ways to search for classes:
    • Click one of the TIER tiles on the Canvas to search using our Four-Tier System 
    • Click the BROWSE menu above the Canvas to search by Tier, Department, Topic or Theme 
    • Click the TRAINING CALENDAR tile to find classes in calendar format

  • Return home to your Landing Page at any time by clicking sonoma higher ed logo, top left.
I received a notification and/or the LMS shows I'm enrolled in a class I didn't sign up for?
  • Your Supervisor, Manager, or an LMS Administrator can assign you trainings.

  • County Mandated Trainings are automatically assigned by LMS Administrators. 
Where do I find my enrollments?
  • Once enrolled, you will receive a notification and Outlook calendar invite via email from sonomacounty@sabacloud.com  

  • Log into sonoma higher ed

  • Your enrollments are in MY LEARNING (right-hand column below Landing Page Canvas)
    • Registered” means you are enrolled in an upcoming class
    • Pending Registration” means additional action is needed to enroll - click on the class and follow the prompts
    • "Acquired" means it is a recurring class and shows the next due date
How do I drop a class?

  • Your enrollments are in MY LEARNING (right-hand column below Landing Page Canvas)
    and/or in IN-PROGRESS LEARNING

  • Find and click on the class

  • Click DROP

My virtual class is starting and I cannot find the link!
  • Log into sonoma higher ed

  • Your enrollments are in MY LEARNING (right-hand column below Landing Page Canvas)
    and/or in IN-PROGRESS LEARNING

  • Find and click on the class

  • Click ATTEND
I found a training I want to take, but there are no classes available in sonoma higher ed?
  • Clicking on the SHOW INTEREST button will send a Learning Request to the LMS Administrator responsible for this training.

  • You will be notified and/or enrolled in the next class that becomes available.

  • Sometimes courses are discontinued. Please check the following places for the most current training available:
How do I see my Completed Learning (aka training history)?
  • Log into sonoma higher ed

  • Click GO TO PLAN or find the "Hamburger Menu" on the top left corner of Landing Page

  • Click ME

  • Click COMPLETED LEARNING

  • Click FILTERS and choose the time period for training records

  • Click APPLY FILTERS

  • You can Print Certificate for Successful Completions or use the Printer Icon at the top right to export the list
Can I add my external training to my completed learning?
  • Provide proof of completion to your Department's LMS Administrator.

What is My Team for managers in sonoma higher ed?
  • If you manage or supervise staff, you have access to the My Team function in sonoma higher ed. This feature allows you to assign learning, review completion statuses, and run analytics for your direct reports.
